We all know that cariocas love a holiday! But did you know that such a long holiday hasn’t happened since 2020?
That’s because, that year, the Tiradentes (April 21) and São Jorge (April 23) holidays fell on a Tuesday and a Thursday, respectively. So those who managed to fit it in had practically the whole week off!

However, for those who manage to get a little extra time off at the weekend, the Carnival can last five days.
