Camille on the run
Inspired by Monet‘s painting “Woman with an Umbrella”, the dramatic comedy ‘Camille on the Run’ opens this month in Rio and traces a sensitive relationship between three women: two human and one in oil on canvas.
In the play, the family moment recorded by the French artist raises discussions about sorority, motherhood, freedom of the body, social imprisonment, female fears and insecurities.

My First Rock Show
The Beatles for Kids project is back in November in Rio de Janeiro with the show ‘My First Rock Show’.
The troupe presents the Liverpool quartet’s greatest hits for the little ones, with original arrangements, including “I Want To Hold Your Hand”, “All My Loving” and “Yellow Submarine” .

Between Us
Starting on November 13, the group show ‘Entre Nós’ (Between Us) will bring together works awarded by the Moreira Salles Institute at Paço Imperial.
There are around 200 works, including photographs, videos and installations, among other media, which deal with urgent and current themes, such as migratory flows, ancestry, environmental challenges, among others. They also deal with issues associated with artistic language and the expansion of the field of the image.

Fullgás – visual arts and the 1980s in Brazil
As part of CCBB RJ’s 35th anniversary celebrations, the ‘Fullgás’ exhibition features around 300 works by artists from all regions of the country and shows a broad panorama of Brazilian arts in the 1980s .
In addition to the works, elements of the visual culture of the time, such as magazines, pamphlets, record covers and iconic objects, complete the exhibition and broaden the reflection on the period.

Varilux French Film Festival
The Varilux French Film Festival, the largest French film festival outside France, is about to begin its 15th year!
In this edition, productions that have been part of the world’s main festivals, such as Cannes, Venice and San Sebastián, will be shown in more than 110 cinemas from the north to the south of the country.
In addition, the Festival pays tribute to French cinema icon Alain Delon and presents 19 new and recent films.
