Another edition of the Gastronomy Without Borders Festival is coming up, marking its fifth edition on October 31 and November 1, 7, and 8 in São Conrado.
Over the course of four days, the event brings together big names in gastronomy, as well as musical performances, children’s activities, and some truly delicious experiences! We’ll share more details below.
Event connects international cuisine with Rio’s creativity

The festival’s concept is to take guests on a culinary journey through different countries, linked to Rio’s identity and the creativity of local chefs.
Curated by Chef Elia Schramm, the event brings together eight restaurants and culinary establishments representing different culinary traditions, this time featuring four new additions compared to previous editions: the United States, France, Portugal, and Brazil.
One of the highlights is the participation of Chef Rafa Gomes. Representing the United States, he’ll share his career journey and discuss the influences and flavors of international cuisine that shape his work.
In addition, French cuisine takes center stage in a tribute to the country’s
chefs, with the participation of the France-Brazil Chefs Association (ACFB). The organization brings together renowned professionals from Brazil and abroad and works to strengthen the exchange between French and Brazilian cuisines.
The culinary lineup also includes Herr Pfeffer (Germany), São Miguel (Brazil), Babbo (Italy), Barsa (Portugal), Jappa da Quitanda (Japan), and the award-winning QuiQui, representing Rio’s seaside cuisine.
Concerts and other attractions at the Gastronomy Without Borders Festival

And the festival goes far beyond the restaurants! Among the attractions, the farmers’ market brings together brands and entrepreneurs, with space for artisanal products and initiatives that showcase the diversity of food production.
The program also includes the SENAC Auditorium, featuring lectures and cultural activities in partnership with SESC and SENAC.
Plus, fun is guaranteed with performances by Davi Moraes, Emanuelle Araújo, Buchecha, Paulo Ricardo, and more!
For children, activities like “Talentinho na Cozinha” introduce the little ones to the world of gastronomy, along with attractions such as “Fabulosos” and the clown Amora.
