November has already begun, and Rio de Janeiro is already gearing up for Christmas and the end-of-year festivities. And if there’s one classic that always makes an appearance this time of year, it’s the Coca-Cola Caravan, which lights up numerous streets not only in the city but throughout the state of Rio.
So, if you want to see Santa Claus riding in the season’s most famous truck, check out the schedule!
Nilópolis is the first stop on the 2026 Coca-Cola Caravan

The 2026 Coca-Cola Caravan begins touring Rio de Janeiro this month. And, as in previous years, the fully illuminated truck begins its journey through the Baixada Fluminense region.
Thus, the first destination to welcome the themed truck is Nilópolis, on November 12. Additionally, on November 13, it’s Queimados’ turn to be lit up by the Christmas Caravan, as well as São João de Meriti on November 14.
The truck will also tour the Mountain Region, the Lakes Region, the capital, and more!

The coolest thing about the Coca-Cola Caravan is that it covers not only the capital but also the state of Rio de Janeiro, among other regions of Brazil.
In Rio’s Mountain Region, routes are already planned for Petrópolis and Teresópolis. In the Lagos Region, cities such as Saquarema, Rio das Ostras, Cabo Frio, and Araruama are also included in the official itinerary.
For anyone in the city of Rio de Janeiro, the first stop here is in Sepetiba on November 15—right in the middle of the holiday!
But the neighborhoods of Bangu, Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Madureira, Tijuca, and Freguesia, among others, will also be treated to the season’s brightest trucks!
It’s important to note that, in some neighborhoods, the Coca-Cola Caravan passes through more than once, on different routes.
Plus, the event is free and runs through the end of December, so many cities in Rio and near the capital will also have the chance to enjoy this super fun, themed experience.
Finally, it’s worth noting that the routes are subject to change and that other locations in Rio may still be added! So, before heading out, be sure to check the Caravan’s official website for all the details on routes, dates, and times!
