A musical Kombi will transform the surroundings of Rua Pacheco Leão into a dance floor, with lots of Caribbean music, this weekend. Next Sunday, February 1, will see the debut of Ya’Ya Love Machine, a mobile experience that brings music, culture, and urban occupation to different parts of the city. Learn more about the project!
Ya’Ya Love Machine aims to spread vinyl culture in a festive and accessible way

Created by DJ and producer Marcelinho Da Lua, Ya’Ya High-Fi is a party that currently takes place every Wednesday at Eleninha, located in Horto. DB Classic Garage, a company owned by DJ Felipe dB, is dedicated to the preservation and circulation of classic cars that marked an era.
It was from this meeting that Ya’Ya Love Machine was born. Longtime friends united by a passion for vinyl records, Marcelinho, Felipe, and DJ Yasmin Lisboa (Ya’Ya resident) conceived a mobile experience that brings music, culture, and urban occupation to different parts of the city.
According to Da Lua, the idea came about during a Kombi ride, when they thought of turning the car into a mobile disco.
“It’s a dream come true, inspired by Jamaican sound systems, block parties in Latin Harlem, and Brazilian radio and stereo systems. It’s about taking vinyl to the streets with a high-quality sound system and getting the music flowing.”
The Kombi will function as a mobile extension of Ya’Ya High-Fi. With its own sound system and a mobile record store, Love Machine is here to occupy public spaces and spread vinyl culture in an accessible and festive way .
In addition, the project plans events in different areas of the city, always with the street as the protagonist.
Event will feature Caribbean dance and free salsa lessons

To kick things off in style, Love Machine joins Eleninha’s lineup this Sunday, February 1.
In the repertoire of the special edition “Ya’Ya Love Machine + Baile Latino,” Caribbean rhythms dominate the scene, with a focus on salsa, Jamaican music, and cumbia, creating a danceable and popular sound .
In addition to resident DJs Marcelinho Da Lua, Yasmin Lisboa, and Felipe dB, the event will also feature a salsa class open to the public, taught by choreographer Patrick Silva.
The teacher is a reference in Latin and Brazilian dances and brings his experience to the street, inviting everyone to learn and dance together. Not to be missed!
