Cultural circuit connects different generations and promotes inclusion

Sesc Orgulho Nerd is offering a diverse and accessible lineup to celebrate Nerd Pride Day, whose official date is May 25.
Thus, over the course of nine days, the project aims to bring different generations together and highlight the many forms of expression within the nerd movement.
That’s why the cultural circuit embraces the geek universe from start to finish, promoting immersive educational experiences and unmissable encounters with renowned artists from the audiovisual scene.
It is also worth noting that the decentralization of activities ensures that different regions of Rio de Janeiro can be part of this celebration.
So, the stages and workshops will be spread across different Rio neighborhoods, such as Tijuca, Madureira, Ramos, and Cocotá. It also extends to the municipalities of São João de Meriti, Nova Iguaçu, Niterói, and São Gonçalo.
Sesc Orgulho Nerd also has a presence in the mountains, in Teresópolis and Nova Friburgo. In this way, it reinforces its fundamental role in educational development and cultural promotion.
