Have you ever noticed that the Museum of Tomorrow looks like a spaceship? Or perhaps the skeleton of a giant prehistoric animal? Whatever the comparison, one thing is certain: it’s hard to walk past Praça Mauá without looking at it.
Since its opening on December 17, 2015, Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava’s design has become one of Rio’s most recognizable landmarks. The structure features a 75-meter cantilever facing the city and another 45-meter cantilever extending over Guanabara Bay.

On October 10, Candlelight brings Vivaldi’s Four Seasons to the Museum of Tomorrow. Composed nearly three centuries ago, the work is one of the best-known depictions of nature in classical music—from the birds and flowers of spring to the storms and winds of winter.
This time, however, the journey through the four seasons takes a different form: live, by the light of thousands of candles, and inside one of Rio’s most futuristic buildings.
It’s an intriguing combination: a work that spans three centuries meets a museum dedicated to imagining the next ones.
Tickets are now available on Fever.
