Latin America’s largest international craft beer festival returns for its 14th edition in Rio de Janeiro and promises new highlights! Rio de Janeiro cuisine takes center stage with an unprecedented curation
For the first time, Mondial de la Bière Brasil features a curated culinary program. The curator is chef and entrepreneur Pedro de Artagão, known for celebrating Rio de Janeiro cuisine and the culture of local bars.
Artagão has selected the participating restaurants with a focus on pairings between craft beers and different culinary styles, reinforcing the event’s local identity!
Among them, Boteco Princesa, TT Burguer, and Bar do Momo are already confirmed.
Garrett Oliver to attend Mondial de la Bière and introduce an exclusive beer
In addition, this year’s international lineup for the Mondial features Garrett Oliver, master brewer at Brooklyn Brewery.
Author of seminal works on craft beer, Oliver will participate in events and experiences throughout the festival.
Plus: an exclusive beer was developed in partnership with a New York brewery especially for this edition!
Expectations are to exceed 50,000 attendees
The previous edition of the festival drew approximately 40,000 visitors in Rio de Janeiro.
In 2026, the event is expected to draw more than 50,000 people, featuring over 1,500 beer varieties from 250 national and international breweries.
Created in Montreal, Canada, in 1994, the festival arrived in Brazil in 2013 and has established itself as the largest craft beer festival in Latin America!
Mondial de la Bière 2026 takes place from October 29 to November 1 at Pier Mauá, and tickets are now available on the official website.
