This Thursday marks the start of the second and final edition of the year for Latin America’s largest independent fashion festival. From November 5 to 8, Carandaí 25 will take place at the Brazilian Jockey Club in Gávea, featuring over 100 confirmed brands, as well as concerts and various free attractions. We’ll give you more details here!
Carandaí 25 is now in its 15th year, having started in Jardim Botânico

Before becoming the largest independent fashion fair in Latin America, the Carandaí 25 movement, conceived by Tatiana Accioli, first began at the entrepreneur’s home in Jardim Botânico.
However, with the growing number of exhibitors over the years, the group began to set up in increasingly larger venues—and even held a pop-up in Paris in 2018!
Currently, the collective holds two major events per year in Rio de Janeiro and has permanent stores not only in Rio de Janeiro but also in São Paulo.
With the theme “Collective Delirium,” the festival celebrates the spirit of summer
To kick things off in style, the theme promises to be “Collective Delirium”! Thus, in this edition, the idea is to celebrate the spirit of the approaching summer and the euphoria that takes over Rio de Janeiro with longer days, new connections, and discoveries.
In total, there are now 150 Brazilian independent fashion brands, with some highly anticipated debuts for this edition.
Among them is Elisa Parpinelli, an artist from São Paulo who worked on the teams at Versace and Prada in Italy, bringing her handmade ceramic jewelry to Rio for the first time.
Meanwhile, Northeast Brazilian designer Rodrigo Evangelista brings his maximalist and extravagant pieces. Rounding out the selection are Denise Faertes’ artsy slow fashion and Drama’s sexy beachwear, as well as the return of Angela Brito and ARQVO’s accessories to the event.
