Sound pieces created from the testimonies of more than 80 women aged between 7 and 70, who tell us what a sexist society is and what it’s like to live in it. This is the purpose of Vozes, an immersive multimedia installation created by artist Ynaê Cortez.
The testimonies address different spheres and social strata, bringing up issues related to the domestic environment, professional life, beauty standards, among others.
In addition, women from different social classes, sexual orientations, races and generations were interviewed to create the sound pieces .

The King of Rock – The Musical

Speaking of musicals, “The King of Rock – The Musical” is back for its second season in Rio de Janeiro.
Conceived, written, produced and starring Beto Sargentelli, the play was born out of the artist’s intimate connection with the work of Elvis Presley and the emotional memory of his father, Roberto Sargentelli (1962-2016), an actor, photographer and cover of the singer.
The musical was conceived after seven years of intense research, which included a trip to Memphis, where Beto immersed himself in the idol’s history by visiting Graceland, Sun Records and other key milestones in his career.

Scenes from the Menopause

The show ‘Cenas da Menopausa’ arrives in Rio de Janeiro this month for a very short run!
The musical comedy is performed by Claudia Raia and Jarbas Homem de Mello and talks about women 50+, with scenes that reflect the worries, anxieties, dreams and desires impacted by maturity and the unavoidable menopause.
The performances are part of the first edition of the Rio de Janeiro Theater Festival.
