This April holiday, the Santa Teresa neighborhood is hosting a special food festival. It’s Santa na Mesa, taking place from April 3 to 5, bringing together 15 restaurants and bars in the area. Plus, the event also features free cultural and children’s activities! Learn more!
Restaurants and bars will offer exclusive dishes for the festival

Santa na Mesa will feature various attractions throughout the event, divided into circuits.
In terms of cuisine, 15 bars and restaurants in the neighborhood, specializing in traditional Brazilian, Portuguese, Northeastern, and German cuisine, will offer exclusive dishesfor the occasion.
Among the participants: Adega do Pimenta, Café do Alto, Explorer Bar, Portella Bar, Armazém São Joaquim, and more!
The creations include recipes featuring cod, octopus, and lamb, pairing suggestions with specialty beers and artisanal cachaça, as well as Portuguese sweetsfor dessert.
In addition, some restaurants will gift customers who make advance reservations with an official Santa na Mesa porcelain plate!
And more: to complete the experience, bars and restaurants will feature live music!
Santa na Mesa will also feature cultural, religious, and artistic programming

In addition to the culinary circuit, the festival will also feature a religious program in honor of Holy Week. Thus, a reenactment of the Stations of the Cross, Easter vigils, and Masseswill be celebrated in the neighborhood’s parishes.
Another highlight of the program is the cultural and children’s attractions. Kids will be able to have a great time with the various activities at Glória Maria Park and the Laurinda Santos Lobo Cultural Center.
The Benjamin Constant House Museum and the Chácara do Céu Museum will also be open to visitors during the festival!
