The charming and tranquil town of Casimiro de Abreu is welcoming new visitors. And they’re coming straight from outer space! That’s because the town will be getting a new theme park about ETs and UFOs and it promises to shake up the region. Find out more about UFO Park.
Spaceship, landing strip and more at Ovnis Park
The Ovnis Park project is ambitious and will feature many attractions from the intergalactic universe! Among them are a spaceship and a simulator with Jupterians!
There will also be an alien landing strip to observe the “arrival and departure” of UFOs with the help of virtual reality, as well as flight simulators and immersive experiences based on astronaut training.
Other cool attractions at the park include a pavilion that will host meetings with technology professionals and pop culture events. Visitors can look forward to cosplay festivals, competitions and exhibitions in partnership with iconic film studios.
And there’s more! A planetarium with a telescope will be the perfect place to expand your knowledge. There, astronomy classes and lectures with ufologists and historians on alien cases and conspiracy theories are on the program.
The park doesn’t yet have an official opening date, but the project is already underway. In March of this year, the mayor of Casimiro de Abreu Ramon Gidalte announced that the park would be located on the banks of the BR-101 highway.
City famous for “historic visit” by ETs… that never happened!
The idea of creating a theme park about ETs and UFOs is no coincidence. After all, it’s not the first time that this theme has been around the town of Casimiro de Abreu.
For those who don’t know, the town became famous for an extraterrestrial visit that never happened. That’s because, in March 1980, a local seer (“the Messenger of Jupiter”) predicted that aliens would be in the city.
As a result, there was such a huge tourist rush to see the aliens that even the town hall went along with the prophecy and prepared a huge space to welcome their new friends.
The visit, however, never took place and the nearly 30,000 people gathered there were frustrated.
Could it be that, with UFO Park, they decide to show up?
