It’s ‘Mostra Terrible 4’, which starts on October 22, at the Estação NET Botafogo and Gávea cinemas. ‘Mostra Terrible 4’ shows classics that scared different generations
For those who enjoy horror and suspense movies, ‘Mostra Terrible’ is a must! This is because it shows the great classics of the genres, which have frightened and delighted different generations.
Among the novelties of this fourth edition, the program includes more films and now there are more than 40 options of horror, suspense, science fiction, fantasy and other works.
So you can sit back and watch films like James Whale’s ‘Frankenstein’, Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘The Birds’, Tobe Hooper’s ‘Poltergeist‘ and Brian De Palma’s ‘The Phantom of the Paradise’.
In addition, ‘Eyes Wide Shut ‘, ‘Death Fits’ and ‘Black Swan ‘ are also part of the exhibition.

Every year, ‘Mostra Terrible’ brings news and surprises for movie-goers to fully enjoy the experience. That’s why, in previous editions, several screenings were packed with spectators enthusiastic about the best in horror cinema.
For this edition, the event has expanded its line-up to present the most diverse filmographies from around the world that have terrified cinema audiences over the years.
