Sesc RJ’s largest circus arts project

Picadeiro Móvel is a traveling project organized by Sesc RJ and is the institution’s largest circus arts initiative.
The event aims to celebrate the art of the circus by bringing a panorama of contemporary productions and a revival of traditional circus to a new location in the state— 100% free of charge !
In this 11th edition, Picadeiro Móvel sets up its big top in Madureira, featuring various performances by artists from Brazil and international guests !
Picadeiro Móvel will hold performances at the Sesc Theater and Madureira Park

The event opens on March 27 at the Sesc Theater with a performance of “Wil Wil Conta Benjamim de Oliveira.”
The show traces the career of Benjamim de Oliveira, the first known Black Brazilian clown, through the eyes of Will Will, a contemporary Black clown.
On Saturday and Sunday, at Madureira Park, the Picadeiro Móvel big top will host various circus performances, all of them free!
It will be a true marathon, featuring clowning, acrobatics, balancing acts, juggling, and plenty of magic!
Picadeiro Móvel has already staged more than 200 shows

Picadeiro Móvel reaches its 11th edition on a path of success. In total, the project has already staged more than 200 shows in different locations throughout Rio de Janeiro.
In addition, it has already brought together more than 600 artists, producers, and technicians, reaching an audience of over 65,000 spectators!
The last edition alone, in Três Rios, featured more than 90 artists and an audience of 10,008 people!
