The traditional Mega Gestante Fair is coming to Rio de Janeiro for another edition. From September 17 to 21, the itinerant event will occupy Riocentro, in an area of 11,000 m², with more than 170 exhibitors and free admission. What’s more, there are items starting at R$1.99!
Organizers expect 30,000 visitors during the event
This is the third edition of the year in Rio de Janeiro and the expectation is that 30,000 visitors will pass through the halls over the five days of the Mega Gestante Fair.
Considered the largest of its kind in the country, the fair is aimed at pregnant women and babies from zero to two years old and brings together a wide variety of products and services. Between clothes, accessories, furniture and toys, you can put together a complete trousseau with the exclusive promotions that take place there. There are even items for R$1.99!
The Mega Pregnant Fair will also have workshops, health services and more!
And it’s not just the discounted products that attract moms and dads. That’s because the Mega Pregnancy Fair program also includes workshops on breastfeeding, food introduction and health during pregnancy with various specialized professionals.
On Friday (19), at 3pm, there will be a workshop on “Uncomplicating Breastfeeding”, and at 5pm, on “Breastfeeding Maneuvers“, both led by perinatal nurse Rose Brandão.
In addition, on Saturday (20), children’s nutritionist Mariana Maroni will give talks on Food Introduction and Feeding during Pregnancy.
Finally, pharmacist Guilherme Monteiro, a specialist in medicinal plants, will give a presentation on preventing stretch marks during pregnancy.
These activities aim to inform, welcome and prepare mothers, fathers and caregivers for the challenges and discoveries of motherhood and fatherhood.
