After the first edition at the end of 2025, the second part of Ghibli Fest is coming this month! From February 19 to March 4, Estação cinemas will host the festival, which celebrates Studio Ghibli’s 40th anniversary. For this edition, there will be 14 films in total, seven of which are unreleased titles. Learn more!

Ghibli Fest is an initiative by Sato Company to celebrate Studio Ghibli’s 40th anniversary and the distributor’s four decades of activity in Brazil.
Thus, in addition to marking the return of several classic productions from the studio to the big screen, the festival also expands access to Ghibli’s contemporary animations.
The event was divided into two parts, the first of which took place at the end of 2025. On that occasion, 14 films from the iconic studio were screened, and it was a real hit with the public!
Film festival will feature seven films not shown in the previous edition

For this second part of Ghibli Fest, the festival has something new. As in the first stage, a total of 14 feature films will also be screened .
However, seven of these works are unreleased, such as The Tale of Princess Kaguya, The World of Tiny People, When Marnie Was There, among others.
In addition, the other seven films that were successful in the first edition return to the festival, offering the public a new opportunity to watch them on the big screen!
