The ‘Labubus Meeting’ will take place at Parque Shopping Sulacap, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, this weekend. The idea is to bring together fans and collectors of the viral doll for a cute and fun meeting .
On August 2, the mall invites anyone interested to bring their doll – or their collection – to exchange ideas, share stories and meet new people.
The event is free and takes place in the Multipurpose Space on the second floor, starting at 3pm.

They’re everywhere and even celebrities have surrendered to the plush doll hanging from their handbags. Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Dua Lipa, for example, have already been seen walking around with their pets.
But where did Labubu come from? It’s a fictional character from the series “The Monsters”, created by artist Kasing Lung.
With its eye-catching appearance, big eyes and bared teeth, the toy ended up becoming a collector’s item and divided many opinions too. After all, there are those who think it’s cute, but there are also those who think it’s bizarre and weird
The fact is that, cute or not, the Labubu went viral on social media, became a global phenomenon and now even has events to call its own.
