Festival opens 2025 season in Baixada Fluminense
More than just a fair, the Escambau Festival is a meeting between art, territory and community. This is because, with more than ten editions already held, the project aims to stimulate the local cultural scene and bring creators, author brands and the public closer together.
Thus, the event brings together local exhibitors, who present works in fashion, visual arts, design, printed matter, handicrafts and gastronomy. In addition, the Festival consolidates itself as a space for the circulation of the creative economy in Baixada Fluminense.
This is the first edition of 2025 and the Festival will hold two more themed editions in the same location, prioritizing access, diversity and the strengthening of local networks.
Exhibition, fashion and more: details of the program
For those who are going to enjoy the Escambau Festival this weekend, there will be plenty of options for fun!
The program includes a photography exhibition on popular cultures, with works by photographers Mateus Carvalho and Ramon Vellasco .
There’s also a creative fair, with lots of fashion and handicraft options , visual arts, prints and gastronomy.
Another highlight is the vinyl disco that will be going on all day. But that’s not all: the public is also invited to bring their own records to play and swap, reinforcing the collaborative spirit that inspires the festival’s name.
There are also activities specially designed for children, such as bouncers and games, ensuring a welcoming and fun atmosphere for the whole family.
