The Sabores de Cabo Frio Festival is in its 12th edition—and full of new features! The event runs from September 4 to October 4, with the theme “Family Recipes.” But even before the festival begins, the public can get a sneak peek at the Gastronomic Village this month. A hit in 2025, Vila Gastronômica is back this month
The event doesn’t take place until September, but you won’t have to wait until then to get a taste of some of the delicacies.
That’s because, from August 27 to 30, a Vila Gastronômica near the Transatlantic Terminal in Passagem will host a special preview of the event.
A hit last year, the event will bring together 53 vendors, as well as live performances and a gourmet lounge featuring classes led by guest chefs, sommeliers, and other culinary professionals.
In addition, at the Gastronomic Village, the petit-sized dishes cost R$ 35 (appetizers), R$ 45 (main courses), and R$ 30 (desserts).
The Sabores de Cabo Frio Festival brings together 70 restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries
In this 12th edition, the festival will feature a record number of participants. There are 70 establishments, including coffee shops, pizzerias, burger joints, and bakeries. This year’s theme is “Family Recipes, ” with exclusive dishes and prices set by each participant.
In addition to the culinary lineup, the event features a schedule of experiences, including tastings, concerts, wine pairings, and various cultural attractions.
