Competition makes its second edition in Rio de Janeiro
The Botecar Festival is already very famous in Belo Horizonte. After all, that’s where it all began more than ten years ago.
Here in Rio, the competition made its debut last year and, right away, it brought together a strong team and was a hit with the locals! That’s why the Botecar Festival is back for a second edition and promises to be a delicious contest between famous Rio addresses!
Which bars will be at the Botecar Festival 2025?
At the Botecar Festival 2025, the theme will be “art with your hands“, with snacks inspired by artists and works that have a dialogue with the Marvelous City!
In this edition, some bars will be taking part for the first time, such as the classic Bar Brasil, in Lapa, Barão Chopp e Petiscos, in Inhaúma, Bar Botica, in Botafogo, among others.
In addition, other incredible bars from last year’s edition are returning to the Botecar 2025 Festival, such as Aconhego Carioca, Bar do Bode Cheiroso, Velho Adonis, Bar Madrid, Bar Urca, Casa Porto, Zuza Fish Bar and more!
In all, there are 18 bars in the South Zone, 14 in the North Zone and 8 more between Lapa and the Port Zone, for a 33-day competition and lots of flavors, with prices ranging from R$20 to R$63.
The public will be able to vote for their favorite snack!
And the coolest thing: in addition to an expert jury, the Carioca public will also be able to vote for their favorite snack! The criteria for choosing are: snack, atmosphere, service and the temperature of the drink, with scores from 0 to 5.
