The Carmen Miranda Museum has prepared an afternoon full of fun and educational activities to celebrate Children’s Day!

Little Chefs Madu
Madureira Shopping has prepared a special event to celebrate Children’s Day. The mall will be holding the ‘Pequenos Chefs Madu’ gastronomic activity, which will take place on weekends this month.
The cooking workshops will be offered by partner tenants such as Vó Alzira, Bar do Adão and Parmê, giving children the opportunity to get their hands dirty and explore the world of gastronomy in a fun and educational way. The activity is free!

While They Don’t Arrive
On Children’s Day, Circo Crescer e Viver celebrates its 20th anniversary. So, to celebrate the date, the space will welcome children all day long for activities and games.
There will also be a performance of “Enquanto Eles Não Chegam”, which tells the story of a troupe of artists preparing for a show, but the public doesn’t show up to see them. The play promises great reflections!

Foguinho Club
For children’s month, Clube do Foguinho, Botafogo Praia Shopping‘s space for fun and creativity, has prepared a special program for every weekend of the month.
However, in addition to the regular program, the Club will also be celebrating Children’s Day. So, on Saturday, October 12, the little ones will have a fun-filled afternoon, with a workshop on creating picture frames and interactive games. The Magic of the Symphonic Ark

Le Petit
To celebrate Children’s Day, Le Cordon Bleu, the largest gastronomy school in the world, will be promoting the traditional Le Petit, a short course aimed at children aged 8 and over, with pastry chef Carola Troisgros.
There, the mini chefs will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty and prepare a delicious buttery white cake, make a creamy brigadeiro for the icing and decorate the cake with lots of colorful treats. The little ones will also prepare an irresistible chocolate chip cookie.

Novel Triathlon solidarity run
An event that combines fun, health and solidarity. It’s the Novel Triathlon, which will take place at Espaço Aldeia, with the aim of raising funds for Rocinha Children’s Day, promoted by the NGO Doando com Vidas.
The solidarity event will include functional training by Brau Lima, a challenge run by Bernardo Lamarca, meditation by Alice Alvarenga and a pocket show by Fran Vilela, all accompanied by a lovely breakfast.

Based on the classic novel by James Barrie, the musical Peter Pan has a unique short run in Rio.
