Santa Teresa is going to be even more charming this week. That’s because the second edition of the Urban Art Festival (FAUST) will take place from Thursday to Sunday, with various artistic interventions in the streets, as well as attractions in different cultural and gastronomic spaces. Find out more about the program!
More than 50 artists will make live productions in the streets of Santa Teresa

FAUST ‘s aim is to transform Santa Teresa into the city’s largest open-air art gallery. For this reason, the festival will bring together more than 50 artists – many of them local residents – who will make live productions in selected spaces, using tilework, graffiti, mosaic and collage techniques.
In addition, the public will not only be able to follow the process, but also interact and exchange experiences with professionals such as Rafa Mon, Airá, Arruda, Camila Sent, Di Couto, Smael, Toz, among others.
What to do at FAUST? Shows, workshops and more!

In addition to the artistic interventions in the streets of the historic district, FAUST will also feature various attractions in different cultural spaces.
Among them, Parque Glória Maria will feature live painting, DJs and concerts. The Laurinda Santos Lobo Cultural Center will feature conversation circles, interactive workshops and the Alvoroço Free Fair, which will bring together 15 independent creators, designers and artisans. There will also be a DJ collective.
Another cool tip is that, during the festival, the Benjamin Constant House Museum will host a special program aimed at families, with free, inclusive activities full of affection!
Stores, ateliers, restaurants and hotels will offer exclusive experiences!

The Urban Art Festival program also includes the stores and establishments of Santa Teresa, which offer exclusive experiences for the public.
For this reason, some of the neighborhood’s famous and traditional restaurants have prepared special dishes for the event, full of Brazilian flavors. On the other hand, stores and ateliers are betting on live paintings, open-air cinemas, experiential tourism, among other activities.
Hotels, meanwhile, have exhibitions, picnics and live jazz sessions to round off the event. Be sure to check out the full program on the official website.
