Cinema Week is a campaign created by FENEEC (National Federation of Film Exhibition Companies), which also has the support of ABRAPLEX (Brazilian Association of Film Exhibition Companies and Multiplex Operators).
According to ABRAPLEX president Marcos Barros, the goal of this initiative is to follow a global trend of promoting the movie-going experience in a festive atmosphere. After all, who doesn’t want to enjoy national and international releases on the big screen at a low price?
Proof of this is that although this is the first edition of the year, Cinema Week is already in its eighth edition and has already taken more than 23 million people to cinemas across Brazil!
During Cinema Week 2026, there are discounts on tickets and popcorn!

Cinema Week is a great opportunity to check out the best films currently showing in theaters across the country.
So, between February 5 and 11, tickets at participating chains will cost R$10! The promotion is valid for all screenings, except for previews and special screenings, OK? Another important tip is to keep an eye on the screening times, as depending on the time and chain, tickets can cost R$12!
In addition, there are also promotions on popcorn, snacks, and soda combos to ensure a complete experience!
In Rio de Janeiro, several movie theaters will be offering promotions throughout this week, including Cinemark, Kinoplex, Cinesystem, Cinépolis, and UCI Cinemas.
