Creamy Codfish Puff Pastry, Tender Balls with Wine Sauce and Lentil Rice with Crispy Onions are among the highlights! But Christmas and New Year’s Eve orders are only available until December 20th!

Emporio Farinha Pura, Rio’s most traditional gourmet market, is also offering a Christmas and New Year’s Eve menu this year, to order.
The menu has been revamped, bringing together holiday classics and novelties. With stuffed poultry, noble meats, classic side dishes and special desserts, chef JoĂŁo Lucas Baggio gives the menu his signature touch, combining technique and sophistication!
Orders for Christmas can be placed until December 18, at 12pm, for complete suppers, and until December 19, at 6pm, for party items. For New Year’s Eve, the deadline is December 27th at 12pm.

An icon of Portuguese gastronomy in Ipanema, Mercearia da Praça has an exclusive menu of made-to-order Christmas and New Year’s Eve suppers, with dishes such as bolinho de bacalhau, six sophisticated versions of cod, the classic Arroz de Pato Ă Dona Rosa and the famous Rabanadas dos Sonhos!
Orders can be placed until 12 noon on the 23rd for Christmas and until 12 noon on the 30th for New Year’s Eve.

Orders are available until the 18th for Christmas and the 26th for New Year.
