The initiative makes the neighborhood even more attractive to visitors

If you’re in Rio de Janeiro at the end of the year, you may have noticed that the Christmas atmosphere is everywhere. And of course, one of the city’s most charming neighborhoods couldn’t be left out!
So, one of the Christmas events worth visiting in the city is Natal Luz in Santa Teresa, which leaves the neighborhood all lit up with special decorations!
This is the sixth edition of the event, promoted by AmeSanta, the Santa Teresa Gastronomic, Tourist and Cultural Pole Association. According to Liliana Jaeger, president of AmeSanta,
The idea is for tourists and cariocas to stroll through the neighborhood to enjoy its historic architecture, museums, cultural centers, ateliers and stop at our bars and restaurants, which offer a wide range of cuisine.
Various parts of Santa Teresa receive Christmas decorations

If you take a stroll through the Santa Teresa neighborhood, you’ll notice a different kind of glow in the streets!
That’s because Natal Luz is taking place in various parts of Santa, including the streetcar station at Largo do Curvelo. In addition, the City Hall’s Local Executive Management building and Cine Santa, in Largo dos Guimarães, have also received Christmas lights.
What’s more, churches, houses, bars, restaurants, stores and hotels in Santa Teresa also got into the mood!
