Are you one of the people who likes the ” botecagem raiz ” or a more modern bar for good drinks? If it’ s up to you, you can have both! Bar RaizNutéla has just opened its doors with a humorous proposal: to bring together the best of both worlds in one place. To do this, it has been divided – literally – into two environments, but with a single spirit of celebration. Find out more!
Two proposals in a single space: even the waiters get into the mood!
The new RaizNutéla has just arrived at the Polo Gastronômico da Tijuca and is already attracting attention with its decor. This is because the bar has been divided into two areas to please both fans of draught beer and drink enthusiasts in comfortable lounges.
The Raiz side, on the left, is decorated with traditional tiles, a snack stove, wooden chairs and typical boteco phrases.
The Nutéla side, on the right, has modern, industrial-style decor, padded seats, a lounge with a sofa and a coffee table.
Even the waiters get into the mood! They wear different uniforms, depending on which side they’re on. For example, while the Raiz waiter wears a classic apron, the Nutéla waiter wears a button-down shirt and a shoulder bag.
The restaurant also has a second floor, which houses a kids’ area with a playroom and a monitor to keep the little ones entertained.
Menu offers options for all tastes
RaizNutéla ‘s menu is by chef Bruno Magalhães and has options for all tastes! Think of starters like Pastel de Moela com Queijo, Croquete de joelho de porco com Mostarda de Abacaxi da casa and Harumaki de Rabada with pickled red cabbage da casa for starters.
The display case is also full of irresistible suggestions such as Calabrian Potatoes, Meatballs and Jiló stuffed with sausage. There are also snacks and sandwiches, including the Burger Raiz and the Burger Nutéla.
If you’re looking for a full meal, lunch offers plenty of dishes to share (or not). Among them, Medallion of Mignon in madeira sauce, piamontese rice and fries; or the creamy Cod Rice, which comes with tomatoes and straw potatoes.
The experience is completed with the desserts on the menu, such as Tiramisù al pistacchio, made with sponge cake, coffee, Italian pistachio mascarpone, topped with cocoa and pistachios. And, of course, the classic Pudim de leite sem furinho!
With a fun proposal and a democratic menu, the house was born with the aim of being a place where everyone feels represented, no matter if you’re a fan of the draft beer or the drink with ginger foam!
So, which side are you on?
